Bursaries

The youth bursary scheme is open to young people aged 14 - 25, who are residents of Aylesbury Vale.

If you are interested in;
¥ Attending a specialist arts course
¥ Purchasing specialist arts equipment
¥ Need support in your development to become an arts professional

Please apply for a bursary

Who can apply?

Any young person resident in Aylesbury Vale between the ages of 14 and 25 may apply for support, as long as the application relates to an arts related activity and the applicant can prove that they are personally committed to that art form.

The Aylesbury Vale Arts Council support applications relating to:
¥ One-off short courses, workshops and residencies which will enhance the applicant's skills
¥ Specialist equipment
¥ Residencies with other arts professionals

Aylesbury Vale Arts Council can not fund applications relating to:
¥ General equipment
¥ Course fees relating to full time educational courses
¥ On going fees to term time activities

About the Youth Bursary Scheme

The Youth Bursary Scheme has been set up by Aylesbury Vale Arts Council to offer funding assistance towards the development of the arts amongst the youth community of Aylesbury Vale.

How do I apply?

Simply complete the application form in full and submit it to the Arts Council by one of the three annual funding deadlines: - 1st January, 1st May and 1st October. Your application will be assessed by an advisory panel and the Executive Committee will then decide what help, if any should be given. Applications can take between 6 and 8 weeks to process.
