About the Youth Bursary Scheme The youth bursary scheme is open to young people aged 13 - 19, who are residents of Aylesbury Vale. If you are interested in attending a specialist arts course or need support in your development to become an arts professional please apply for a bursary The Youth Bursary Scheme has been set up by Aylesbury Vale Arts Council to offer funding assistance towards the development of the arts amongst the youth community of Aylesbury Vale. Who can apply? Any young person resident in Aylesbury Vale between the ages of 13 and 19 may apply for support, as long as the application relates to an arts related activity and the applicant can prove that they are personally committed to that art form. The Aylesbury Vale Arts Council support applications relating to: - One-off short courses, workshops and residencies which will enhance the applicant's skills
- Residencies with other arts professionals
Aylesbury Vale Arts Council cannot fund applications relating to: - Purchase of equipment unless there are exceptional circumstances
- Course fees relating to full time educational courses
- Ongoing fees for term time activities
How do I apply? Simply complete the application form from the downloads page in full and submit it to the Arts Council by one of the three annual funding deadlines: - 1st January, 1st May and 1st October. Your application will be assessed by an advisory panel and the Executive Committee will then decide what help, if any should be given. Applications can take between 6 and 8 weeks to process. |
